By saving 80 per cent of an ordinary chair’s transport volume, Wood also spares the environment from large amounts of carbon dioxide, packaging materials and storage space. Wood’s components are bent with a traditional steaming technique that uses a minimal amount of wood. The wood used is local red beech from sustainably managed forests.
