The cupboard: This is probably where the adventure began – the day I brought home this cupboard, my first piece of furniture, made during woodwork lessons in Höga Gärde elementary school in the parish of Urshult in the county of Småland. Praise was heaped on me! I was twelve years old and on my way out in the world on my white charger.
