1959 - 1961  Employed by architect Professor Peter Celsing
 Since  1967  Own firm of architects and prototype workshop
                      in Vaxholm

Production

1988  Founded Galleri Stolen, Stockholm. Design and production of           furniture
1991  Bought the Chairfactory in Skirö, south of Sweden
2003  Galleri Stolen becomes the mainowner of Gärsnäs AB
2006  The Skirö chairfactory becomes Åke Axelsson Produktion,           design and production of furniture
